CHEF/EDUCATOR ED BATTAGLIA
A lifelong lover of foods of all kinds, Chef Ed Battaglia's interest in Culinary Arts began while working as a cook at Mt. Laurel, NJ’s Laurel Creek Country Club in 2000. It was there that he decided to further his education at the Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College.
Following graduation, Chef Battaglia worked for several years under Chef Susanna Foo, both in Atlantic City and Philadelphia. In 2004, he left the restaurant and began teaching Culinary Arts at a private school in Willingboro, NJ.
While teaching there, Chef Battaglia had the opportunity to compete on season 7 of Hell's Kitchen, finishing in the top 6. On set, he gained valuable experience and knowledge from top chefs in the industry including the show's producer Chef Gordon Ramsey.
In 2010, Chef Battaglia started his tenure at Camden County Technical Schools where he continues to share his love and knowledge of food with his students today.
