Percussion Carnival
This isn't background music. This is the main event.
Drum Jawn is a pop-up percussion carnival – a high-energy, fully interactive rhythm activation that transforms any event footprint into an unforgettable sonic experience. Built for crowds. Designed to draw them.
What it is
Picture a festival midway where every station is a different rhythm experience. Hand drums, steel drums, marimbas, bucket beats, percussion games, and open jam stations — all facilitated by professional musicians who know how to pull a crowd in and keep them engaged. Every person who walks up leaves having made music. Most of them can’t quite explain why they feel so good afterward.
Drum Jawn is available as a standalone activation, a complement to an existing festival lineup, a sponsor activation centerpiece, or a ticketed percussion experience. It scales from a compact footprint for community events to a full multi-zone carnival layout for large festivals and fairs.
Format options
Rhythm Hang
The intimate version.
A facilitated open drum circle with a curated instrument spread, designed for community gatherings, corporate team events, and smaller festival footprints. Warm, inviting, and deeply participatory.
Drum Jawn Percussion Events
The full activation.
Multiple percussion stations, roving facilitators, performance moments, and a layout designed to create foot traffic and dwell time. Built for festivals, fairs, large community events, and sponsor activations where visibility matters.
Custom Activations
We’ve built custom percussion experiences for a wide range of event types and audiences. Tell us what you’re trying to create and we’ll design something that fits.
Why it works for event producers
- It draws a crowd and holds one.
Percussion is visceral.
- It photographs and videos beautifully.
Joy is the most shareable thing on earth.
- It works for every demographic.
A four-year-old and a seventy-year-old can stand at the same drum station and both have the time of their lives. That kind of universal engagement is rare in event programming.
- It's fully self-contained.
For sponsors and

What people are saying
It Became The Energy Of Our Launch
“Launching a brand at a live event is a gamble — you need a moment people will actually associate with you. Drum Jawn gave us that moment. The energy in the room became the energy of our launch, and people who experienced it still bring it up when they talk about the brand. We couldn’t have scripted a better first impression.”

I Could Just Step Away
“Logistics are my whole job, so I notice when something runs itself. Drum Jawn showed up, read the space, and adjusted the set without needing direction from me. I could actually step away and let the program work — which is rare, and which I appreciated more than they probably know.”

Drum Jawn Was A Moment
“I’ve coordinated enough events to know the difference between a booked act and a moment. Drum Jawn was a moment. I had attendees come find me afterward just to ask who they were and how to bring them back — that almost never happens with the entertainment line item.”

Drum Jawn Held The Crowd
“Festival programming lives or dies on flow — you need something that can hold a crowd between headliners without feeling like filler. Drum Jawn held the crowd. It gave people a reason to stay in that field instead of wandering toward the food trucks, and that’s harder to do than most people realize.”

They Drew A Crowd Three Rows Deep
“We book a lot of acts that look great on paper and fall flat in the field. Drum Jawn was the opposite — it photographed beautifully and the energy was real. People weren’t just watching, they were pulled in. Two minutes into the “jam” we had a crowd three rows deep that wasn’t there for anything else on the lineup.”
