The field trip that comes to you.
The Mobile Music Lab brings interactive music-making, rhythm-based social-emotional learning, and hands-on instrument exploration directly to your school, campus, or camp. No buses. No permission slips. No setup on your end.
Our programs
School Assemblies
A high-energy, fully facilitated drum circle experience for groups of 20 to 200 students. Designed to engage every student in the room — not just the ones who already love music. Evidence-based social-emotional learning benefits including cooperation, active listening, and self-regulation are built into the facilitation approach, not bolted on as an afterthought.
Classroom + Small Group Sessions
Smaller, more intimate music-making experiences suited to individual classrooms, resource rooms, or specialty populations. Particularly effective for SEL-focused programming, wellness initiatives, and therapeutic enrichment contexts.
Instrument Discovery Experiences
For Summer Camps
- Turn one hour into a highlight of the week.
The Mobile Music Lab is designed to fit a standard one-hour activity block.
We bring the instruments, run the program, and leave your staff free to enjoy the energy alongside your campers. Perfect for a single visit or a recurring weekly slot throughout the season.
- Drum circles, musical story-telling, rhythm games & instrument exploration
Works for all age groups and mixed-age sessions
No musical experience required for campers or staff.
Music-making and
social-emotional learning.
Research consistently demonstrates that group drumming and collaborative music-making support key SEL competencies — including self-awareness, responsible decision-making, and relationship skills. The Mobile Music Lab’s facilitation approach is informed by evidence-based practices developed in clinical and educational settings, including the HealthRHYTHMS protocol used in our senior programming.
We’re happy to provide supporting documentation for grant applications, curriculum alignment requests, or administrator approval processes. Just ask.
